Meanwhile, packaged and processed goods from organic cultivation areas have been available to many markets. In addition, Vĩnh Long Province is also actively implementing the conversion of planting area codes. Currently, dossiers of 500 cultivation areas and 20 packing facilities have been submitted to the relevant authorities for conversion procedures.

At present, 97 out of 124 communes have registered to establish planting area codes for fruit trees intended for export. This accounts for a total area of over 10,679 hectares.

It has also asked them to develop an appropriate roadmap for conversion.

This is from domestic-oriented production to export-oriented production in order to improve management efficiency and the utilization of these codes.

The Vice Chairman also instructed relevant units to continue supporting enterprises in establishing planting area codes. In addition, he called for the effective management of production processes and fruit bagging practices. He especially emphasized regular coordination in inspection and supervision, and strict handling of any violations.
